As Molas Espirais de Compress\u00e3o s\u00e3o projetadas de modo a acumular for\u00e7as durante sua compress\u00e3o. S\u00e3o constru\u00eddas no formato helicoidal paralelo ou c\u00f4nico.<\/p>

Normalmente s\u00e3o confeccionadas com arames de formato cil\u00edndrico e em casos espec\u00edficos, em que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de for\u00e7as maiores em espa\u00e7os reduzidos, utilizam-se arames de formatos quadrado, retangular ou de alguma se\u00e7\u00e3o especial.<\/p>
